Please join us August 1st & 2nd, 2009 in Commercial Point, Ohio for the 17th running of the Commercial Point Grand Prix of Karting. Both karters and fans will enjoy one of the safest and fastest go-kart street courses in the country. Lined with fence, straw, and barrels the 6 turn 1/2 mile course winds through the historic streets of Commercial Point, Ohio. The famous 900 foot straight away provides spectators the chance to see up-close photo finishes and gives karters the chance to push their machines to the limit at speeds reaching 75 MPH. Bring the entire family for a weekend of fun enjoying one of the few remaining street karting races in America.

05/03/09 - 2009 Commercial Point Grand Prix Meeting: Anyone looking to help with the 2009 Commercial Point Grand Prix of Karting is invited to attend May 6, 2009 at the Community Men's Club in Commercial Point, Ohio. The meeting will begin at 7pm and is open to the public.
04/12/09 - Spaghetti Dinner: All you can eat spaghetti dinner sponsored by the Scioto Township Firefighters Association. April 18, 2009 at the Commercial Point Community Men's Club from 4pm-8pm. Pre-sale tickets available at the firehouse for $4, $5 if purchased day of dinner. Drinks and desserts $1 a piece.

Racing To Serve You
The Commercial Point Grand Prix of Karting is brought to you by the Scioto Township Firemen's Association. All race revenue is put towards the running of future races and the purchase of supplies and equipment for the Scioto Township Fire Department. The race could only be possible with the help of the Scioto Township firefighters, surrounding fire departments, local organizations, loyal sponsors, residents of Scioto Township, and the entire community of Commercial Point.
